colophon

a look under the hood of this little corner of the internet.

how it’s built

the main pages are made with Eleventy and Nunjucks; the blog and garden use Quartz. I write the notes in Markdown using Obsidian.

why I built my website with two static site generators →

three coloured bands organise the site: work with me, explore my mind and now. the design borrows from notebooks, index cards and editorial layouts.

what’s growing here

the blog holds essays and observations, the garden holds connected ideas, and the stream is for smaller updates and passing thoughts.

garden notes grow from 🌱 seedling to 🌿 budding to 🌳 evergreen: a measure of development, not certainty.

follow along

choose what you’d like to follow via RSS. the site also supports Webmentions, so responses published on your own site can appear here.

a living website

some pages are polished. others have the garage door open. things will change here, including my mind.
